I Smell Red...

There is this fascinating study where in some people smell colors and see sounds... it is a condition called Synaesthesia...

Fascinating!

One guy broke up with his girlfriend because everytime he heard her name he tasted broccoli...

Totally true...

I thought everyone did this...

...huh...

...hmmm...

For me...
Monday is dark blue and crisp
Tuesday is tan
Wednesday is green and rainy
Thursday and a warm redwood brown and dry
Friday is red and windy
Saturday is orangy yellow
Sunday is a light blue... almost transparent

Always.. for as long as I can remember...

And don't get me started on the calender... when I think of the calendar I see this suspended in dark but cascading fog...

And when I smell food I hear music...primarily instruments ... like with my family and friends it is mostly warm violins and cellos...if it is a holiday or birthday sometimes additional truphets and a few harps and when I am by myself eating it always is acoustic guitar...with an imaginary glow of a flittering fireplace...

And when I hear music I see images and as the song progresses i eliminate the images till i get the few images that i think the song is mostly aboutor represents and then everytime I hear that some those final images appears and it bring me..I guess comfort or familairity...or something...

And don't get me started on coffee...it is like an invisible armourd blanket...of course with its on soundtrack..for me..drinking my first cup of coffee is like pressing play on the soundtrack of my day...and untill that happens nothing really begins for me...
