I Can't Believe That This Is Still Going On... When Will It End...

Eventhough it seems like this has been on for so long... it is just amazing how long it has gone on... and although progress has been made it is so strange that there is still so much more to do... I know it does not make much sense but that is the best way that I can put it...

...now while I was thinking about how to say this better... I actually came across this passage that I had saved as part of an e-mail that I never sent......

Why?

Why are the innocent punished?

Why the sacrifice?

Why the pain?

There aren't any promises.

Nothing certain.

Only that some get called... some get saved.

She won't ever know the hardship and grief for those of us left behind.

We commit these bodies to the void... with a glad heart.

For within each seed... there is a promise of a flower...

...and within each death... no matter how small... there is always a new life.

A new beginning...

Amen.

... and it is from a movie... I won't mention the movie because I think it would prove to be a distraction and it's context misinterpreted... but I think it tries to gather things up... into perspective...

... and if anyone is offended by it then drop me a comment and I will totally remove it.

In a word... grieve...
