Save The Robots... Save Yourselves...

Yeah...

...our friend Gavin Rossdale has himself a new band called ...Institute...

The album is called Distort Yourself and it ain't bad... no songs jump out at me right away as a super hit... which is good... that way I won't get sick of it right away... the album sounds a little Bush-ish and not all that heavy but not really fluffy either...
.. it is part background party music - part windows down speeding down the highway - part iPod selected playlist... and song titles are pretty wild... Bullet Proof Skin... When Animals Attack... Boom Box... Save The Robots...

and the lyrics are even funkier

Love is stronger than hate
We are always on planes
Find mad love in a wasteland
Find space in everything you can

And I know it is kinda cheap to discuss song titles and lyrics just like it is cheap to dicuss a book by it's cover... but I've only really listened to it like 6 times and I have not heard it outside in the real world... to make a long story short... I dig it! And I totally will recommend it!
